So today I recieved the beautifully wrapped December Glossybox. It arrived in a lovely brown and pale pink box and inside there was a silver box.
The excitement of pulling the little bow apart and revealing what was hiding below the tissue paper was enough to make my day in itself. I love how much effort is put into this part of the service. I also received a list of the products I was getting in my box. I like this idea as it gives you a description of each product and also some discount codes.
These are the products that I have received:
- Moschino Pink Bouquet
- Maria Galland Stick Protection Solarie 199
- Cosline Concealer Nr. 965
- Isadora Precision Mascara
- Paul Mitchell Shampoo One
- Extra: Glossybox Lashes
So, overall I would say I am disappointed with my first Glossybox.
I intend to give Glossybox two more months to redeem themselves. If they do not, I will sadly cancel my subscription. I was ever-so excited to see what they brought to the table, and I was dismayed by their lack of ANY make up or nail care items in their inaugural box. I really adore the packaging and the prompt shipping was appreciated. If you wish to sign up for Glossybox, click here to sign up for next months.

Metallics, glitter, gems, ombre and print – nails have never been so party ready. The shinier and more novel the better – let your finger tips become the talk of the night!

I thought it would be fun to do a post with some of my everyday beauty essentials. I’m definitely not a beauty guru. Here are just my magic tools that I use religiously to make myself look pretty.
Smashbox PhotoFinish Primer: It’s awesome and worth the purchase! My skin looks amazing with this on.
Benefit Erase Paste: This is most definitely the best concealer I have ever tried, I have definitely found my holy grail concealer.
Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow: As soon as I tried this, I fell in love! The coverage is fabulous and even covers my under eye circles enough for me to not always need concealer. Hello…it’s flawless time!
Cargo Suede Blush “Montebello”: This is my favourite blush. It does have shimmer and slightly peachy and it gives such a gorgeous glow. I’m in love.
MAC Studio Fix Powder: It’s a brilliant little compact powder and perfect for a quick fix. I’ve been using it for years.
Benefit Hoola Bronzer: This bronzer is by far the best I have ever used. It’s super perfect for contouring.
H&M Eyebrow Kit: It makes my brows look super natural and not to mention it is very very affordable!
Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler: It holds my lashes so nicely and if you don’t have time to put on eye makeup, curling your eyelashes will make you look more awake.
Lancôme’s Hypnôse Drama Mascara: Umm.. WOW! LONG, defined, full, soft, no smudging, no flaking – in short, just about everything you could want from a great mascara.
MAC Vegas Volt Lipstick: It’s one of my favorite lipstick in my MAC collection.
What are your favorite makeup items that you use every day? Feel free to suggest any other great products to me.
