Reunion Dinner

Yesterday, we had our reunion dinner at “It’s all about the meat, Baby!” as some of you know my sister is back in town for a vacation but this time “only” for 2 months. The Burger was delicious, but is not served on a plate however just on tray! After the dinner we took a stroll through the 1. district since the weather was nice and pleasant.SONY DSCSONY DSCSONY DSCSONY DSCSONY DSCSONY DSCSONY DSCSONY DSCSONY DSCSONY DSCSONY DSCSONY DSC

{NEW IN}: Hermès Cookie Cutter

gesucht und gefunden – aber leider etwas zu spät angekommen!

The cookie cutter is shaped like a Kelly bag and came with a recipe. Was a Christmas present for Hermès VIP customers a year ago and I’ve spotted one on eBay. YAY! Christmas baking for me… NOT! … so, I have to wait until the next christmas.

Homemade Vanillekipferl

This is the first time ever I made Vanillekipferl (vanilla crescents) and they were a big success! YAY!

So, let’s talk about Vanillekipferl! They are almond and butter based cookies from Austria (but popular in Germany as well) and are traditionally shaped in a crescent. As you can see from the photo above, I and the kids didn’t exactly achieve consistency in the size or shape of the cookies, but that’s okay. I like the rustic look, it says “homemade” ;).
